Thanks for compliment, but I've only been drawing for about 3 years and I am your age. I didn't grow up with this and I certaintly wasn't born with it. I've still got ALOT to learn. Studying artists such as yourself is a huge boost to my development.

Thank you, Tony - I really mean that. I'm actually a writer first. Drawing was a "cosmic accident" of sorts. I'm working on a short novel that I would like to illustrate, though not like a graphic novel. I really got the inspiration when I read Sephen King's Dark Tower series a few years ago. In the later novels he started dotting the book with illustrations from various artists. I would like to do that with my own work, or maybe even collaborate with someone who could "post produce" my sketches. I absolutely love the work you do and your vision is truly a gift. I read a critque or 2 of yours and you have an extremely perceptive eye. Maybe we could collaborate some time.

As you alluded to - it's great to hear from people with unique outlooks and twists on concepts, as well as a passion for their art. True passion can't be taught or learned and it always brings out the best in every artist and it's obvious that you've got it in spades.

Well, I do appreciate the compliment. One of the reasons I've stuck with dA, is that I like to surround myself with others that have the same passion for art that I've had my whole life. We should talk writing and art soon.
